Not really surprising that the original of this is currently on show at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne as part of their Art Deco 1910-1939 exhibition.

THANK YOU for posting this image. I have been trying to find a large color reproduction of the original for a long time - I have this same book, but it's in storage out-of-the-country.

The painting is 1000 times more gorgeous and is HUGE in person.

It's a mural that was originally installed over a fireplace at the
International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, Paris,in 1925. In the Pavillon du Collectionneur.
