Corinne Griffith (1898 - 1979) the Hollywood film star and actress, signed by First National Pictures. She appeared in 'Lilies of the Field' with Ralph Forbes and John Loder.

I think the still of Ms Griffith is from later than 1926? Here is a still from the lost Colleen Moore technicolor musical "Footlights and Fools", from 1929:

...NB the same art deco prop! I got the pic from vitaphone.blogspot.com, the owner of which conjectured that the Griffith still is from 1930's "Lilies of the Fields", which I think is also lost.

There's a better resolution verion of the Griffith picture at doctormacro.info, which also has a crazy pic of her dressed as a deco-style version of the rolls-royce emblem.

Her film "The Garden of Eden" is well worth watching, it's a charming romantic comedy, and was till recently available on DVD. She was good! Also, very, very attractive. V poor survival rate on her films, unfortunately.
