I live in Lawrence where Thelma Todd was originally from and is also now buried. I saw 4 of her films today at the Visitors center on Common st. It was a delight to see her alive again with her film buddy Zasu Pitts. Although I was alone in the dark room I felt as if I had gone off this afternoon to spend with girlfriends and have fun.She was not only a striking beauty but very talented. IT would be wonderful if these old films would be shown on tv these days..What a difference their affect would be in contrast to all the violence we see on tv today! Well I still love em. Rest in Peace dear Thelma. From a true fan. Tara Rose

I only know her through these old photos, I don't think I've ever seen her movies. Yeah, it would be nice if a channel like TCM would show a more varied repertoire of old movies, so I could see some of these old movie stars in action. Sounds like you had a lot of fun! Cheers.
